Terms of Service for Digital Design Services


Branding Design Services

My role is to bring visual life to your ideas and business concepts to be cohesive and professional on the web. I don’t guarantee specific outcomes of business success from my design services.



After meeting for a 30-minute consultation, I will present you with a full proposal outlining my recommendations, scope of work, and project price. The project price includes the deliverables outlined for the project. Any extra time spent outside of this scope is billed at my hourly rate of $60. I will discuss these charges with you if a request is going to be outside of original scope.

Outside of project price, you can expect additional investment for any stock photography and graphic assets that will be used in your design project. I will present my choices for these to you for approval before purchase, and then the cost will be billed to you on final invoice. 

When you approve your project proposal, we will schedule a project start date, and I will send you a contract to electronically sign along with your deposit invoice. After contract is signed and invoice payment is received, I will send you your first questionnaire to fill out and return to me before our first meeting.


Payment and Refunds

I accept payments for invoices with PayPal. Deposit payment is due up front prior to the project start date. Once deposit payment is made, it is non-refundable.

Invoices are due within 14 days of receipt. After this a 3% late fee is applied to the invoice.

Due to the nature of my work, I do not extend returns or exchanges for deposits or subsequent payments, whether it has already been completed, or has yet to be completed. If you do not want a project to be completed, you forfeit your deposit payment.


Project Start Date

Your deposit secures your place in my schedule. We will discuss the project start date before paying your deposit, but keep in mind the project start date can be up to 4 weeks after contract signing and invoice payment.


Privacy Policy

I will never share your information with third parties unless required to do so by law or requested by you. The information I collect from you will be used to perform my services for you and to represent the quality of my  work to others, such as in my portfolio.



I am best reached through email at hello@tristadedmon.com. It is imperative that we keep communication open during the project design process to stay on schedule for launch. If there is no communication from you for over 30 days, the project will be archived and a fee of $500 will be due to resume the work as outlined in previous project scope.

Our meetings will take place over Skype or Google Hangouts.

Phone calls or meetings outside of the ones outlined in the scope of work for your project will be billed at my hourly rate of $60.



Timelines given for a project are best-case estimates and can change for various reasons. I will do my work as quickly as possible, and you agree to deliver the necessary items that I need to complete work in a timely manner. This includes questionnaire answers, written website content, images, and account login information for hosting, theme, etc. In the event that a timeline is stalled due to a client not meeting their deadline for getting content for over 30 days, a project will be archived and no refund will be issued.



The designs I create are the property of Trista Dedmon until final payment has been made for the project. Ownership is then handed over to you. I still retain the right to use the work I created on my own online portfolio, and a credit for design in the footer of your website that links to my website.



By signing a contract with me, you agree to abide by the above terms of service without retract.
